I just got offered 11K for an exact vehicle they have listed on their site for 25. Ha
...I guess this is the first step to significantly lower retail prices coming down the pipeline. Maybe its a real world heads up for deflation and more dollar weakness. But stock markets are too high right now so I don't wanna get aggressive with dollar shorts til after a big stock pullback.

Used car prices have been tumbling for a while now. Higher interest rates along with supply issues ending. Lower demand and increasing supply. Hopefully consumers benefit sometime soon

I plan on picking up a used car in about a year, I hope the prices crumble.

My local Kia dealer has 5 Tellurides sitting on the lot with 2k markups. They have sat for over 2 months.
Meanwhile the other models with one or two on lot are 2k off MSRP.
The dealers have no idea what they are doing.

I was hearing about all the great offers from the used-car dealers, but Carmax and Givemethevin offered me just $5k on a car. A dealer offered $7,500 trade in. I privately sold it for $10k to the first person who looked at it.

How did you go about it? My plan was autotrader and facebook marketplace.
On the paperwork side, I was thinking have a bill of sale signed and money transfered/change hands simultaneously at a notary.

The wholesale prices have cratered. Trade in values are the first thing to fall

Big, nice truck. I'll be able to get close to 20k for it. Which is part of the kick i got out of the 11 from Carmax.
ETA: From your recent posts, I can tell you this is exactly what you are looking for. If 18k is in your price range, and you're comfortable posting your email address, I will send you all the specifics.
