Neither have a lot in the accounts but I'm moving on from my current employer. The stocks are not publicly traded as I'm sure that matters.

If it can be done...what are the limits?

TIA

Yes. There are no limits to a direct rollover.

That's fine, no issues. No limits.

However if the stocks are not public traded, your company may redeem the shares before you go, so you would just roll over the cash into an IRA.

Some ESOPs have a redeeming schedule, but you should be able to roll those over as they're redeemed.
