Can current students take out a 10k student loan immediately and apply for forgiveness...

My son just started med school in July. If he applied for his 2022-2023 loan before June 30th, can he apply for the forgiveness? Screw it, someone in our family might as well take advantage of Uncle Sugar for once.

So we did nothing to fix the actual problem and incentivized colleges/universities to continue raising tuitions....Sounds about right!

I'm in the same situation and I don't know whether I qualify. I took loans out before the deadline, but I've seen the word dispersed so it may have been dispersed after the deadline. If so I don't qualify. Thing is a shite show regardless
