I work for a firm, but I would also like to have a separate website of my own. What are some decent website design companies that I should look at? TIA.

1. Pick your hosting service, register your domain, decide what hosting plan you want.
2. Install Wordpress - most hosting services offer a one click install of most popular CMS’s.
3. Use Rockettheme or something similar to get a template you like. Read the tutorial for that template and start designing.
You can do this yourself and not pay an arm and a leg, it’s not difficult. But if you want someone else to do it for you, you’ll definitely find no shortage of individuals.

Just find a template website company. You could hire a dev to make it, but it's probably not worth it.
