Looking for a book for my teenager to read that would give her some basic info on finance and investing. Any suggestions?

I'm sure it will get mentioned plenty, but Rich Dad, Poor Dad does a good job of explaining finances and financial statements at a basic level.

Honestly, the best book to give anyone about personal finances ages 13+ is "Millionaire Next Door"

Is there anyone at her school that is well versed and willing to teach a little finance class?

This would probably be more beneficial unless she's just ate up with the investing bug at 16...but that doesn't happen too often.

I teach a stocks class at my school on a rotational basis for 28 minutes per day. That's why I ask.

That’s a great question/suggestion. I’ll for sure check into that.
