No idea what cash will settle at today, but cash as of Friday, and July contracts are within a penny.

Henry hub cash line was going for $4.66, up a penny today, and the July contracts are at $4.619, August is at $4.612.

It's looking less painful again today. Thanks goodness.

Natty gas is getting crushed, and UNG not so much. I'm hopeful some reality is starting to sink in though.

I don't see Henry Hub prices for today until later on this evening. I'm not sure if this is SOP or not, but cash prices in my commodities account doesn't real time update like futures.

Cash was $4.57, July is at $4.54.

We're continuing to head the right direction.

We're at equilibrium. Cash and July are about even. Today's movement, if any, will be all about tomorrow's report.
I've started to read some bulls indicating they think the market is overheated. I hope more analysts start printing stuff like this. That way, everyone will jump on the bandwagon. Even the experts have no independent thought. It's all follow the leader.

Injections reported at 107 vs expectations of 109-113. UNG explodes $0.75.

That was a kick in the nuts.

Well shite.
I'm debating on whether to average down again today or not. I'm leaning no; but it's tempting.

July NYMEX up almost 20 cents, UNG up $1.00+... can't wait to see how this is spun.

It's an over reaction again. But it is painful, and once I get close to break even I'm going to start to unwind my position. I tried a little bit yesterday, and could have gotten out of July UNG 24 at a gain, but I never expected this today.
It's has been a incredible amount of work managing this trade. At this point I need to get out with as little damage as possible. There is still some time, but I'm not taking any more chances.

I'm with ya. It's bad enough that these will bleed extrinsic value every day, even with a favorable move in the market. Just flat out running out of time.
Posted on 6/12/14 at 11:45 am to sneakytiger
This is rather depressing.

I'm holding strong. I think by a purely technical standpoint UNG has strong resistance at the 27.89 level. It hasn't broken 27 since late February. If it blows passed that point then I'll abandon ship.
