UWTI up 6.56% today and I heard several references to the floor on oil prices on the news today
there might be a snowball's change in hell that UWTI gets back up to 2.33

Bought some DGAZ today at 5.00.

So I'd have more money to trade UGAZ with. This is a play account for me. I don't really want to put more money into it. I'd rather put that money into my investment accounts. I thought about just putting more money into this account and let my UWTI shares do whatever they were going to do but that would go against my original plan of not putting more money in until I felt more comfortable as a trader. Right now I'm an investor and vanguard gets the lion's share of my money.

No, I don't. But I'm gonna wait until it has about 2 weeks of gains before I start putting money back in. Plus, who knows how low it'll go before it turns around. I might be able to buy back in at 0.50.
Of course, now that I've sold and locked in my losses, it'll skyrocket tomorrow.

Took a bite on some itm Jan 17 UNG calls this morning. The GAZ's are dead to me.

Smarter move. Options on a non levered fund. Still subject to contango and backwardation, but UNG options would be (are) how I play natural gas. A maximum loss certain this way.
I think January 2017 right now is a fairly safe bet. Depends how much you pay for time premium.

Perch, where do you sit as of today, total dollar and % gains? Not trying to bust chops, just genuinely curious. You're probably still leading the pack in this entire thread in % terms.

I'm not leading the pack anymore
I was up 70%, made a huge gamble on uwti as the knife fell. Now I'm up only 1.75% ytd
But, I leaned a lesson and I'm refining my method. I'm in ugaz right now at 1.83. If uwti starts to increase in a steady manner I may jump back in, but right now I'm still licking my wounds
