yeah but you can’t send all assets peer to peer without the need of a trusted intermediary

I remember so well when all the "analysts" were gushing when it hit 20k. Well, is 1,5x over 20k. Where has the gushing one? Pussies can't handle a brief gravity storm. So nice to see the Monday Morning QB's out in force with their Bitcoin death certificates in hand...

Bitcoin was a good idea for inflation. But it only works if everyone holds and the belief is there. But people have done nothing but just exploite it for quick profits. Millionaires bait people into it and then sell off at inflated prices. Thus trapping the peak buyers. The little dogs get scared off the slightest little things and sell off to stop bleeding. Anytime unstable shitholes like China, Russia, and Kazakhstan can cause majority volatility you have a huge problem with Bitcoin being anything but glorified pyramid scheme.

Didn’t this happen last year before it exploded again

Once again using previous performance to indicate future performance on an asset class that is this new is bad form, not to mention I wouldn't look at anything that has happened since March 2020 as movement you should base future performance off of. The things that have happened in the past 22 months have existed in a highly unstable and unpredictable environment.

I still want a BTC bro to explain to me how this is a currency and not just a spec. There is only going to be 21 million BTC. Lets assume there is no insitutional or foreign holders (LOLOLOLOL) that means that only 1 in every 17 people living in America will own one. Realistically there is at least 10-20% institutional/foreign ownership which will drop that number even lower and a large percentage of BTC is owned by a very small number of wallets. How will this ever be in large enough circulation to be used as a currency? Everyone will hold until they realize, why am I holding this if it has no useful quality?
TL;DR: BTC doesn't have enough circulation to make it a viable currency.

Its Divisible.
Once fully mined, it will have quadrillions of individual units of satoshis.

Wrong, wrong, and wrong.

Even a dollar is divisible. Still doesn't address the fact that one unit will capped at 21 million. Will you be buying burgers for 0.00000001 BTC?

Yes, if you want.

Okay man. Good luck in the long term on an asset that will not be available to be widely used by the broad populace and will most likely never truly be a currency.

I'm not buying and holding to spend it. Its an asset.

I’m uncertain what point are you making? Just use satoshis instead of whole Bitcoins when talking about people sending smaller demarcations to one another.

Dude, ALL currency is an asset. This is one of the only ones in the world where people have no intent on using it as a currency and also expect it to continue to have value.
