Bitcoin was not seized by the Feds. Such a thing is impossible.

Are you sure, the NSA has got some bad arse computers. LINK

I have no idea what any of that shite means, but it sounds likes the NSA has the Sword of 1000 Truths

Oh hey, just wanted to bring this to MT's attention.

Regarding this post by Wikitiger:

I don't recommend risky investments to anyone. Bitcoin is not ready for prime time yet. 2019 will be a different story, but right now, no.

But Wiki, what about your statements in this thread Google Wallet now lets you send money as an attachment in Gmail

bitcoin transaction fees are typically fractions of a penny, but can be done free as well, regardless of amount being sent

I need you to go on the record with the follow questions:

What % of the US population should own bitcoin?
In what amounts should that % own of their portfolio?
What's your feelings on the Bol Weevil?

Its a scam, but, its your money, so do with it as you will. Just don't put too much into bitcoin. Diversify by investing in real estate via a REIT or buy some good blue chip stocks.

Got a buddy here at work that went long on some bit coins and was looking pretty good before the burst. His bitcoin "bank", or whatever it would be called, was offshore and went out of business. So he lost out on a few thou with no hope of recovery.

This is a problem that I've warned about many times on here. People should not entrust their bitcoins with a third party if they have no need to do so. Bitcoins are designed to be easily stored on your own computer, or even printed out if you wanted. Don't trust third parties with your bitcoins if you have them. Learn how to secure them yourself. It's not hard.
