Looking to switching my bank with a national one or online one. What is the recommended one? I may also open up a savings account with them . Chase? Capital One? Ally? Charles Schwab?

Nothing but good things to say about Schwab.

Why are you ditching the local bank for a national one?
Consider a credit union: often accounts are free or very low cost, good loan rates for consumer stuff like cars, and most credit unions participate in a nationwide cooperative that allows you to service your account via other credit unions. These “share” branches will give you a banking network with greater coverage across the country than most of the major chain banks.
For example, I have (completely free) business accounts with ASI; it has no branch in my hometown....so I use a branch of Coastal CU to deposit, withdraw, ATM. (Coastal doesn’t offer business accounts). My CU has a full-service online portal, just like the major chain banks.

Chase just for their technology and app. Sure, the credit union now have good apps and mobile deposit, but Chase has had it for 10 years.

I've been happy with Discover Bank. Have a saving and checking account. No fees.

I moved my primary checking and savings to Fidelity from ING Direct/Capital One a few years ago. Fido has a cash management account which has billpay and the debit card reimburses atm fees.
I did this because all of my investment accounts (except 401k) are at Fidelity. It's nice to have everything in one place. I even switched most of my credit card spend to their 2% cash back card.
