Flipped some XOM a few days ago after the div was paid, kinda wish I would have held onto it. Of course this article drops the day after. I have FENY which is 20% XOM, and jumped into ENB as a midstream play (7% div) & SLB as a services play. Will hold all of these through Q4 at least.

Also if y’all are looking at energy plays that have potential, check out VTNR. They just bought (stole) Shell’s Mobile Refinery for $75M. A steal. They are planning to revamp the Hydrocracker to product Renewable Diesel. They plan to make $400M profit a quarter thereafter. Of course it popped on that news, but there are at least a couple of $25 PT’s out there.

Almost assured, nearly 40% of my holdings were O&G stocks when market tanked. Now all up bigly. Sold almost all when I got break even, except a few hundred shares of XOM and VLO. The CPE dump hurts the most.

So let’s list a group of good ones from people that have been around 10+ years. I owned AR not long a Fox. Had a good run. That includes natural gas with it tho. I bought GUSH (etf) because I couldn’t decide. It’s been good to me.

Ahhh, wish I would have heeded my own advice. Up 40% pre market today, 80% the last 5 days. I've been waiting on a dip that never came... crazy options action. High volume on 7/16 $20c. Damn.
