Agreed. You are either facing absurd work loads or losing your job when there is a downturn and more than half of the staff is let go. Few jobs have less stability.

Congrats. The work I do is not bureaucratic enough to need that though.

This is exactly why I started my own firm. I felt less in control of my workload when working for others than I do now working for myself. That and I damn-near tripled my income.

What is the name of your firm, if u don't mind me asking?

If u don't want to say that's cool. Just curious because I work for a consulting firm and I have been having entrepreneurial thoughts lately.
