Y’all think we can keep Perry one more year?

If so we will have

Ado
Nick
Stewart
Molinar
Woodard
Perry

That would be an exciting team

No way is Perry a lottery pick. I see him as a second round pick at best.
He is not even close to NBA ready yet. Richards totally dominated him at UK and he is inconsistent. He dominates against players less talented but struggles against equally talented players.

I know he will probably go the NBA (or Europe) route but if he came back for one year, the team could really make a run next year. Carter would be the only player not returning.

Could be a very special year.

Perry is playing the part of a 1st round pick. I think he's gone. Most NBA ready athlete I've seen at MSU and he's much further along than Moultrie who got drafted in the 1st round pick.

I think Woodard is the big question. If we can keep him another season, we'll have an exciting team.

I don't see a good chance in Perry staying.

His body is ready but mentally I don’t think he is anywhere close. He struggles to finish down low against equally talented players. That is what he will be facing every night in the NBA.

Just my opinion, but if he came back with the nucleus of this team, he could be a top ten/five pick next year. At best he may sneak into the first round around 30 or so this year.

I will never forgive Stansbury for not making the tourney with that team. So much wasted talent

Perry is surrounded by basketball idiots and it drains on him. He has a lot to learn but he will be good in the NBA. If I were giving him advice I would say go on big dog and get out there and make that money.

I don’t have any doubt he will eventually do well in the NBA. But the difference between being drafted #30 and #5 is huge.

This year I see him being the former while next year with the nucleus of this team back , they could be a potential Final Four Team and then he is a top five or maybe even the first pick in the draft.

I think he is that good but he has not matured overall to that point as of yet.

I am excited for him and can’t wait to see how he performs at the next level. We will see what happens.

I do hope that they all return. And Perry needs to improve his skills even more, but I would understand his desire to go.. Does he not look tired during the games, or is it that he just plays hard and not enough bench time?

I like the prospects for a couple of guys that aren't playing now. Elias King looks the part to me, and Quinten Post with a bit more muscle could give us some solid minutes at the... er... post.

I am pretty sure that Howland is going to the portal for some experience, so there is that as well.

Will Carter return if the NCAA gives another year eligibility?

I would think it would depend on roster limits, scholarship limits, other factors.

I wonder if the NCAA will relax scholarship limits and grant an extra year for the spring sports participants including basketball.

Carter coming back would be tremendous.

Perry, obviously is probably gone but he could really move himself up the food chain immensely if he stayed one more year.

Will be interesting to see how all this shakes out.
