Season football ticket tradition fund donation question

Never had season tickets but I’m considering it for next year, if possible. Question: is the tradition fund donation that’s required per ticket or just total? If I want three season tickets and the tickets are $490 with a required donation of $320, is it $490x3 + $320x3 or just one donation for three tickets?
Sorry for the stupid question but I can’t seem to find this detail on the website.

The tradition fund is per ticket. $490 x 3 plus $320 x 3. Still a good deal.

I must be mistaken in regards to how it works then. Is it a one time cost of $810 per person for the entire season (every home game) or is that $810/person per home game? Because the first would be a very good deal indeed.

Taf or tradition fund is annually with every renewal per person.

In your scenario, $810 is the total cost that includes one season ticket to all LSU home games.

Thank you, that’s precisely what I needed to know. What are the odds of me actually being able to secure three or four seats in 422 or 421 if I put in the request next time they open it up?

That depends on your TAF priority ranking compared to the rest of the people requesting tickets.

I don't mind donating to get some points BUT how many priority points are typically required in order to get tickets? And should I start donating now before the request for tickets is opened?

I believe you have to donate before the end of March for sest selection consideration. That's the ranking that is locked for that process.
I don't think you will have issues getting 4 in 421 or 420. Certainly pairs will be available. 422/23/24 are popular. Harder to get 4 together in those sections.

To answer your other question, you technically don't need to donate anything (Philanthropic in this case).
Availability will depend on who doesn't renew season tickets and what gets selected and relocated ahead of your seat selection time.
YMMV, but I created an account for my son about 4 years ago, no donation, and he has two seats in section 424 in his name. Got them first year.

So just the tradition fund donation that's indicated in the pic below and the cost of the tickets is required and that's it? I can easily pay the tradition fund donation and cost of tickets if I have to. This is very promising to hear, if I'm understanding you correctly.

Yes sir! Correct!
As long as they are available for you to select come May or so for Seat Selection time, they are yours. And they will remain yours until you give them up!

keeping in mind the 9000 or so TAF members who have been contributing TAF ticket 'donations' as well as the yearly TAF 'dues'...$50,100,300 up to thousands....have all been building up points for decades ! They will all be in line ahead of you to purchase new/additional seats as well as to upgrade/improve their locations. That being said...you should be able to easily land a pair in the endzone[s] and maybe 4 together....depends on the 'market/demand' next spring and just how many TAF members want to improve/add seats !

This is all great to hear. I've honestly never even bothered looking into it because I just assumed it was outrageously expensive. I mean it is expensive but considering I just bought two tickets to the Bama game for $600 and three tickets to the Ole Miss game for $400, I can easily stomach paying $3,200 for four season tickets. I may not even need 4 to be honest, maybe just 2 for now and add two later when the kids are older, so even better of a deal. Not going to lie, I'm pumped as a mofo thinking of this. My wife and I are going to enter a new tax bracket this year and that has got me thinking a lot about how little fun we have at the expense of being frugal. I think it's time we have some more fun and this is the way I'm doing it.

For the last few years, a nice variety of seats have been available in the 420's.
