Can I screenshot tickets and text to a friend?

I have lsu basketball tickets that I want to send to my father who doesn’t have a lsutix account.
I have already downloaded them to my iPhone wallet. In the past I have taken screenshots and texted to friends, but I seem to recall hearing that method won’t work anymore? Is this correct?

Don't see how it would make a difference... either way they're scanning a code. How would they even know its a screenshot?

I have downloaded into apple wallet, screenshot and texted to someone and worked fine.
