Zach is dialed in & focused. Doesnt seem to be affected by pressure or the moment. You cant teach that, it is just in some peoples DNA. His poise with his tools.......he'll be playing along time. Kid looks like he's having a ball.

Not surprised a 1/75 guy would pipe in with the same viewpoint......

Future 5 tool big league player . Will be fun watching him develop . Could see him having a monster sophomore campaign. Similar to Mahtook but maybe even more upside , idk it's close .

Reminds me of Laird. And not just because they were both number 9 just something about the two are so similar.

Is this the same Zack Hess that gave up 7 runs in 5.1 innings this year to Tulane?

This is a Zach Watson thread, not Zach Hess.

Will be draft eligible Soph correct? If so we will likely get him for 1 more year unless he has a complete meltdown Soph year. Doubt that though....kid having an incredible freshman season!! And to think he wasn't even in the mix for the first month of the season?!??!

Watson has way more of a stroke at the same point in their careers anyway.

now, if you're comparing temperament, I'd agree. nothing fazed that Yankee boy from Indiana. OBP was superb!

Plenty of mature players show emotion at the plate. Watch basically any MLB game and you see it. I do agree though that I prefer the stone cold approach.
