IMO He has the same skills as the Glennon kid from Va.Tech. Watch where he goes and there's your answer.

Glennon went to NC State. The QB you are talking about is Logan Thomas.

Also, Mett is not on the same level on Glennon.

Not too far off.

This past year they had pretty much the same completion %, yards per attempt, TD:INT ratio, and QB rating. Glennon just had about 200 more pass attempts.

I see him as having a Matt Flynn-type NFL career if he has a good season; understated, not very successful at first, but gets some PT eventually and wows himself into a good trade deal.

Not a high Draft...but employable in the NFL...a lot better than his rural GA home working costruction.

Broncos took Tebow in the first round and he cant throw the ball to save his life

Tebow was more of a sell jerseys publicity stunt type deal because everybody knew he couldn't throw. He was versatile and could be used as an H-back. I think they go crazy next year and sign a Boyd, Bridgewater, Manziel and either Mccarron or Murphy in the first round.

Mett is prototypical in the sense that he is 6'5 235 with a cannon arm and can make all the throws. If Cam can better his pocket presence and teach him to put touch on his deep ball then his basement is 3000yds 25tds. The guy had over 2600yds with a shaky OL, receivers that constantly dropped the ball, and throwing every one of his deep balls 5 yards over.

Remember a chart that had like 43 QBs listed and percentage of throws over a certain distance. Mett had about 3.7% of his throws overs 40 yards which was the 3rd highest total but he had the worst cmp% over that distance too which was 0%. Now not every single pass was recorded but pretty much all of them were. If he completes half of those, he would have easily been over 3k.

Cam utilizes the TEs and RBs a lot and that gives Mett more options which means quicker throws, better chance of mismatches and definitely more confidence throwing the ball. If Mett goes 3000 25 (basement) with his size and arm, easily first round. I don't know how many of you watch the NFL but it's a QB driven league and they are always overdrafted every year.

If he matures more between now and next year and he has a great year, maybe.

I saw the kid make throws last season that only few can make. If Cameron polishes him with things like playin with more urgency, pocket awareness, etc. Sure he is a first round talent.

It's going to take a lot of improvement for him even to be drafted

Nah. Just what I said about polishing and Kiper and McShay will be all over his jock. Just saw them on espn drooling over Bray from Tennessee's abilty who has the same kind of arm strength.

Lets assume Coach Cam does great work with ZM and he has a 3500 yard 25 TD 5 INT season. Does that get ZM into the top half of the 1st round?

With those stats, he would be top 5.
