The top 2 RB’s on the team are a guy that didn’t play last year and a guy that wasn’t at LSU last year.
Preseason lists are mostly based off of what you did the previous year.

Noah Cain has a fraction of the talent that John Emery has. Cain is a low agility, downhill plodder that was way overranked earlier in high school. Eventually came down in rankings and was average at Penn State. He'll be a decent short yardage guy that can spell our starters but I doubt he makes it higher than 3rd on the depth chart (outside of injuries) during his time here.

No way we have a top 25 RB. Nobody that we have has come close to gaining that sort of recognition. There is certainly the potential for several to be among the top 25, but none have demonstrated it on the field. To think otherwise is homerism at its best.

Don't blame this on Faulk. There's a lot of reasons you can dog pile on a coach, but what happened to his family is far more important than LSU's fricking running backs.

Are you saying Faulk is the reason Emery didn’t play last year, Cain was at Penn State last year and the freshman the 2nd year RB was injured last year? All 3 of those backs could possibly make the top 25.
