You'd think "home cooking" could have set in on a couple of those.
Charge/block is always a tough call. But Mays makes it easy for opponents to get in position for a charge. He stars his drive beyond the 3 point with his head down and he's slow to the basket (long strider). Everyone on defense knows he's coming and they can get set. SFA adjusted in the 2nd half. Mays didn't. As the announcers said often, he has to realize the defense adjusted to him and pull up on the drives
