Don't forget what I have said since the Ole Miss game. Could be a "bidding war" between us and Tennessee.

An Bebe is going to Tennessee as the DC or DL coach? If Monte is the DC, Coach O would be the DL coach and recruiting coordinator?
The rumor I read on these boards and Bobby Hebert (only said his name in refrence to LSU...) Is that Chavis would be the DC and O would be our D line coach. Just sayin.

Nah Ole Miss was at the luxury of a turnover prone florida offense.......most of which wasn't even created by them.........they couldn't hand the ball off that day.....Harvin caught the ball over the middle for like 9 catches 160 and 2 tds.
And you definetly will have to go for it on 4th to beat Tebow.

I'll serve you up some Mary had a little lamb.
I can look at everything objectively.
Anyone who thinks Tech had an arguement in the NC is really objective. Anyone who thinks that the two teams playing for the Big 12 and lost to the team shafted by a combined score of 101 to 67 is really objective.
Man I'm a realist.

Actually, yes. But hell, if this DC can't turn shite around I don't want to put up for it for several more years.

my point is that you have to come after tebow from different angles and press the recievers to try to disrupt their timing, our formula is to let them throw short passes all day long, not to blitz tebow bc they are scared he would beat it, and to consistently let them expose our bad match ups, like beckwith covering percy harvin

brady tell me chavis isn't the guy

Don't judge Chavis on the last 4 years when Tennessee's recruiting has been terrible. Chavis knows what to do with good players and LSU has good players. LSU has a good recruiting pool in Louisiana.
In spite of Tennessee's poor recruiting he still managed to get more out of those players than most.
Looking at his body of work over the last 14 years the guy has had the 3rd best or higher ranked Defense in the SEC for 9 of those 14 years. What hurt Chavis was that Richt, Spurrier, TBowden, Saban, Tubberville, Orgeron, and Miles kept Fulmer from recruiting in their respective state.
Defensively the Tennessee players show some of the best defensive techniques and discipline on the field in the SEC.

And my point is that Ole Miss did a better than avg job at stopping Tebow and company but ultimately UF was their own worst enemy.
LSU beat UF regardless of 5 4th downs. We kept the ball out of the man's hands when it mattered most.

are they still in the playoffs?

if we dont make ONE of those conversions, we likely lose the game.

Total defense is probably the most overrated stat in college football.
I'd rather see what he's done with sacks, turnovers, hurries etc.
