No offense intended but I hope not. It's the SOUTH EASTERN CONFERENCE. I've been all over West Virginia.....pretty state but it is not in the Southeast.

I like West Virginia but I think the ACC is a better for your school right now. You have a basketball team that makes noise, football I would not say is at the SEC level but I think the ACC would be a good step up for you. Just leave the Big East you are better than that! Enjoy the game this weekend.

Two things: Jerrel Powe would have had no problem getting into WVU because of the "high-schoolish" academic standards there.
2)Don't overlook the fact that Morgantown, WV is only about 4-5 miles from the PA border. It's cold and snowy up there until about March. So, no it isn't in the South. It's right next door to Ohio, so maybe they'd fit better in the Big10, 11, 12, or whatever the latest is. I know Rich Rod would love that.

We are below the Mason Dixon line there Geography majors.. Ask for a refund if you still dont think so. Just to the left is KY! Holy shite?? did that state get up and move North? So geography really is there..
Next and to me MOST IMPORTANT! I was born is WV and consider it to be "southern culture."
I live in Florida now and consider it to be "Northern culture" even though for you Geo wizards Gainsville is 700 miles SOUTH of Motown...
