No he wasn't. He had a cut on the cheek, prob from the helmet being knocked off his head, that the trainers were looking at. He's not injured.

That's what I saw as well. He appeared a little woozy after the hit, but when the training staff got there, it was clear that he was working with them to evaluate the injury. I think he might have even been concerned about his eye, or felt the hit to his eye. I don't remember seeing him leave the field, but he appeared fine on the sideline later.

You just contradicted yourself in your own post. Nice job.

Well, f*** you very much, but while I do make mistakes, I'm not so sure I contradicted myself. I posted: "Didn't know JJ's status was in doubt." Almost 7 hrs. later, you replied: "It's not in doubt." Well, yeah, it's not NOW, but it "was."

Notice the words: "was" (past tense) and "doubt" (you'll probably have to look that one up). After all, LSU itself last night decided to send an e-mail which said, "Jefferson went through Wednesday’s practice session with no problems after being limited on Tuesday. Miles said that Jefferson will be ready to play on Saturday night against the Green Wave." BTW, it never mentioned anything about him being sick, having "a respiratory problem or that there was some concern it was H1N1."

Today we all learned that "Jefferson had a respiratory problem. There was some concern it was H1N1, but he was back at practice yesterday." Yeah, genius, that pesky ol' H1N1, no need to worry about that, especially if you're an athlete. Why even test for it since you know today "it's not in doubt?"

You might have noticed that a lot of people on this thread (and in the media) also thought JJ was injured on his last play--right AFTER it happened. A few minutes later, he seemed fine to me, you and just about everyone else. Watching it on TV the next day, it did look like he took a good hit on the play, though I'm sure you'll find some way to argue that, as well.

What's your conundrum?
The first quote is from me, the other is from an LSU press release yesterday. BTW, it only said Jefferson had returned to practice "after being limited on Tuesday."

I never thought he was injured. Overreact much?

When I said "I'm sure you'll find some way to argue that," I didn't say you'd make a sound argument (and you didn't disappoint). Your beef is with the 90 percent of Ranters in this thread, and the media who also "thought he was injured."

I think Jefferson will definately play... but, if he didn't, would we see Lee take the helm for the entire game

Tranlation to this post: Hopefully Lee can play a lot. We want to see Lee play more.
