You can only make the final 4 so many times without advancing in a row....

Again, no excuses. They sucked last night.

But again, if you've been watching all their games to this point, you can see the talent that's there. This will eventually be another great LSU team but, with Graham out, you've got to understand that of the top 7 players getting significant minutes, 5 are freshmen. When you have that kind of youth you will have situations where the team plays great against great competition and sometimes plays poorly against bad competition. Last night's performance was more of an abberation than the norm. They'll be fine...............................

That was the ugliest game I have been to period. The shooting was horrible and it was painful to watch. At one point I think LSU was shooting 14% from the floor. I went into the season thinking it was going to be ugly with all the freshmen starting. You can't compete night in and night out in the SEC with 4 or 5 freshmen starting. TN got blown out by Vandy the other night and they are freshmen and soph laden. There is great talent on the team that will come around, but the loss last night really hurt their post season chances. We needed that win at home with the remaining schedule we have. I was disappointed with the inside play last night. The pass would come inside and the State players would simply take the ball out their hands. They need to get stronger physically. Ayana Dunning needs to continue getting in shape and we still really need a pure shooter who can be consistent. Something that we've never seemed to have even on the 5 Final Four teams.
