JJ is not going anywhere...particularly if we go dancing. The powers that be have proven to be nutless when it comes to pulling the trigger on a big hire.
When Simmons is gone, it will be interesting to see how he maintains the program.
Personally, I think the talent he brings in overcomes the ineptitude on the sidelines. This may be enough to get us to the dance fairly frequently under JJ's watch. But if we ever made a really deep run in the tourney under JJ (at least sweet 16), it would be interesting to watch his coaching skills under that kind of pressure.

I mean, it's not like no one considered Kennedy to be a really good coach. Adding Stansbury to his staff guaranteed more job security.

There is a ton of coaches if take over Jones but Kennedy is not one

Yea I noticed....I think I've even read about it in the paper somewhere.
But the last time I checked we still have 6 games left. It's looking good...real good as a matter of fact....but every time I start believing, I remember back to the beginning of the season and those ugly losses...and the end of the OU game. Im just gonna hold my breath til the end of the season before celebrating anything.

Some classic idiots on the rant. LSU is in first place and got a big win today. Jones substituted well and Victor played the entire 2nd half and got only one foul. The arena was full again. I would love to see some of these people trying to coach. Not only would they pee in their pants, but it would go down their leg and make puddles on the floor.
