Urban would step in at LSU and build a national championship team within the next 3 seasons. Kelly might never do it.

Talk about a shitty, nonsensical comparison. Saban took a bad Miami team and made them decent and then decided pro ball and the pro player mindset wasn’t for him. And he went directly from college to pro and back with no breaks and year-long TV gigs.

More importantly, his team didn’t fricking quit on him and he wasn’t caught grinding on women at bars on road trips AFTER HIS TEAM ALREADY LEFT THE CITY. Saban wasn’t a disaster at Miami. He obviously wasn’t as successful as he wanted to be, but you’re crazy if you think he was going to be fired after year two. He left on his own terms because he chose to. Meyer was sent packing in disgrace after completely fricking up the Jags job. He was completely unprofessional and unprepared and the players and the entire organization hated him for it. THAT is why you don’t hire him today for a fricking high school coaching gig, much less LSU. He’s washed up. He proved that in Jacksonville, no matter what players he had.
