Firstly, I fully expect that LSU will be better on offense this season and will go 9-3 or better in the regular season. If that happens, regardless of your feelings on Miles, he's not getting fired. I believe - partly due to his own miscues - Miles has become arguably one of the most underrated coaches in college football.

That said, I'd be blind to say there's no chance of us going 8-4 or worse and potentially telling Miles to hit the road. If that were to happen in combination with Georgia going 7-5 or worse and firing Richt, how would you feel about Mark Richt at LSU? Although he would not be my first choice (Saban, Muschamp, Patterson, Gruden should all receive a call before Richt IMO), I think Richt would be a good fit at LSU and could do well here.

Given the incestous turnover of SEC head coaches between one another, I could certainly envision Richt or Tuberville ending up at LSU if some of our dream candidates pass on the job.

What yall think about Richt or Tuberville at LSU?

I feel like Richt has a much better feel for the game(than Miles) so I'd take him.

Richt...maybe.

Tuberville...i'll never go to another LSU game again as long as he was coach.

No Richt... or any other coach losing a job because of a poor record. WTF sense does that make ?

Of your list that are actually possible, I'd take Muschamp.

Do you say that because you think he's a mediocre/bad coach or do you say that because you dislike Tubby from some of his antics in the past?

Richt has more to work with at Georgia and has been less successful than Saban/Miles

I would like reservations at the 2011 BCS NC game.

its more likely that Miles and LSU wins it than Richt or Tup being HC at LSU in 2012.

No...We already have a Richt equivalent.

Having said that we could do a lot worse I suppose.

is not leaving ESPN for LSU. I think he was overrated anyway, but if he gets another HC job, it will be in the NFL, not in college

How so? Miles' recruiting classes are ranked higher than UGA's every year so Miles has better talent on paper. LSU's facilities are better than UGA's. Louisiana and Georgia are about equal in terms of high school talent but UGA also has another major in-state college to recruit against so I'm not sure what you mean about Richt "having more to work with" than Les.

How can anyone call Miles overrated? To be overrated, people have give you undeserved praise. You don't find many people praising the job Miles has done the last two seasons, and that includes his own fan base.

If anything Miles is underrated, but he most certainly is not overrated IMO.
