And to just show I am not BSing about the ball, look at my ticket, sat in sec 216 row 11 seat 22.
The guy who caught it sat in row 12 seat 21 (maybe 20)
Exactly, a game used bat or jersey.

yeah, but I would have asked for one of the gold game jerseys, would be a fair trade

you should have traded for a game date with Chris Guillot.

Hell I got Skips auto on the way out of the game:
well I literally found myself face to face with Les Miles with his wife and kids and just stood there like a friggin' moron staring at him. An autograph would have been nice.

I wasn't thinking about getting autographs or anything. Skip was standing near the front gate. I didn't even have a sharpie, just a pencil from the program booth to keep score. He pulls out a big arse sharpie!!!
The man carries his own sharpie!!!

That's cool. Les might have had his own sharpie, too. I'll never know because I stood there like a lovestruck teenager or something.

That's weird bc I watched the guy get the Dean HR. No one ever came up to him...he left with the ball.
FAIL
Dean said after the game in an interview he was going after the ball he hit because it was still out there...
J/K
Although he was interviewed about his HR / ball.

You're a F'ing idiot!!! Great post!!!
Tell your mom to quit disclosing where my tattoos are on my body. I don't talk about her tramp stamp I gave her with dirty needles!!!
I make a post, people disagree, a couple agree, so be it.
I more than likely wouldn't have given it up, so be it. I am just asking if you would have given it up (like your mother does).
It is a hypothetical question, but nearly happened to me.

Not a single person agreed with you wanting to keep the ball if you got it...

Some one said he would have held out for a jersey and one said he would if his name was in the HoF display as the person who caught it.

No, thats not it. This was the 1st ball pitched, mentioned in that auction to be enshrined in the HoF.

I remember when I was like seven we took a tour of Tiger Stadium and I was so close to having the Equipment Manager giving me Kevin Faulk's yellow Independence Bowl jersey.

Go ahead and reach for one of these while you're at it.

Ya'll are a bunch of said MF'rs talking about how you would hold out for a better offer. I would have handed over the ball without a second thought. Wouldn't even need a prize for it.
All this what's in it for me BS is the whole problem with this country right now.

OK, now LSU is auctioning off the 1st "Out" ball for over $500. The first pitch ball is more important than that and they offer the guy a Skip signed ball for it, and than a team signed ball.
