This was among the biggest reason I had reservations against his promotion to HC.

I love LSU and pull for and support them no matter what. So once the decision was made, I was praying for CEO to succeed. And he did! But going back to late 2016 when he got the job, I remember my first thought was "crap, now when he's fired in a few years we're going to lose his recruiting ability as a DL coach."
