NCAA announced Transfer Portal Window shrunk today. CBK better talk to these players. Imagine Lane Kiffin and Coach Prime telling our players sit out starting November.

Say what you want about Deion but when you strip away the media circus he's actually an old school hard arse coach. He culled the herd and straight up told the bad players from a 1-11 team to get out or he would pull the scholarship and now they are markedly better. Not a lot of coaches these days would be that straight forward and tell a kid how it is.

His team is playing hard and not quitting.

I believe in Midwestern Conservative Values. Nice guy it seems, but CBK is as Vanilla as they come. Just thinking what pitch an 18 year old “Urban” kid would rather listen to.

I don’t think so here is much to be gained from that other than more vacancies.

Where do you guys get this shite?

Yea let’s lose half our games as long as celebrities come to the game and we get on TV.

Move to Boulder if you love Deion so much.

From my understanding, scholarships are year-to-year contracts, so he can't just "pull" a scholarship until the end of the year.

It goes even further than that. If you’re in a power 5 conference (known as “autonomy conferences” in the NCAA D1 Manual) you can’t even pull a scholarship at the end of the year without a valid non-athletic reason.

In other words, the power 5 conferences view non-renewal and cancellation as effectively the same thing. If a player voluntarily leaves the team, gets kicked off the team due to disciplinary issues, or fails to maintain eligibility, you can non-renew the scholarship. Lack of on-field performance is not a valid reason for non-renewal. If a player’s scholarship is not renewed, the school has to notify the player in writing and the player can request a formal hearing.

Don’t get me wrong, guys do still get “processed.” Coaches can convince guys to transfer, tell them they’re never playing another snap, etc.. but they technically can’t force the player out.

I would hope not. If a player is putting the work in on the team and the class and just isn't measuring up then you just missed on him.

LSU should have too much class than to pull a stunt that piece shite Sanders would do.

Colorado is going to find out soon enough what a fraud he is.
