What does this have to do with LSU?

Ooh, ooh, ooh Mr. Kotter. I got dis one.

ABSOLUTEYLY frickING NOTHING. Your rambling about a congressional hearing is just silly to even bring in this case. The NCAA isn't even involved yet. It's just our compliance dept at this point.

Yeah... Okay. Labeling that sentence as Idiotic would be the understatement of the century. Seems like some people don't even want him to play because they say he does us no good. I don't get it; never will.

Wasn't responding to your post. You obviously know nothing or even bothered to read who I was responding to and what i was referencing unless you are both Tigerdew and TheLSUGuy. If so I will report you to "The Authorities".
Of course that would make sense with your multiple personalty...

It's a message board not a private conversation. Still doesn't change the fact that your congressional rambling is a ridiculous story as it relates to this Shep issue as it has NO relation whatsoever. What you're doIng is the epitome of making a mountain out of a molehill and coming off as rantardish at best.

I gave an anology, albeit a worse case scenario in my opinion, that could cause Shep and LSU issues. AND YES they are related. BOTH potentially COULD involved witholding informaion during an investigation even IF the information is not known to the accused.
In other words, the information SHOULD have been known under the circumstances.
Considering there was an investigation with inappropriate living arrangements at the time the alledged infraction occured and the infraction alledgedly involved inappropriate living arrangements, then the NCAA could impose a harsher penalty than under normal circumstances.
The Dwayne Jarrett case is not the same as this one in the eyes of most regulators sicnce USC was not being at the time of the incident.

Not at all. Since all LSU players should have known the consequences of inappropriate living arrangements, REGARDLESS of who supplied them (why couldn't a booster do it?), then I definitely see where the NCAA has a VERY strong case.
Did LSU show a lack of institutional control by allowing this to happen while there was an on-going NCAA investigation into housing arrangements for LSU Student Athletes and FAILED to report this violation?

You see how easy this can be extremely dicey?

You forgot to add child molestation, terrorism, and murder. CAN YOU IMAGINE?

You work for the NCAA now brah?

Oh, and the NCAA can't tack on shite since this was going on during the Spring. It would be treated as a separate case and would have NOTHING to do with the probation we just went on. Now, if we would have found out that Shep was doing this during this upcoming Fall semester that would be a different story. Btw, we STILL don't have a fricking clue what all is even going on with all of this right now. For all we know Shep was splitting everything. However, the fact that LSU is so quiet right now leads me to believe there may be a little something there. Like I sit, we'll just have to sit tight.

eta: Of course all of that would go out the window if they find some grand, elaborate scheme by LSU to funnel money to their players like the tin-foils seem to think.

33 receptions in in his softmore year--same as Reuben Randle. And that's with a QB who can't pass. Add on 45 runs for 6 yds/carry. Add on we need another receiver to complement Randle.

I think we might need him.

Would this qualify as an oxymoron?

I though you show less when it was soft..but when Shep is soft, it's more?

Count me as one who definitely wants Shep on the field as early and often as possible. We have waited two years-going on three-for him to live up to his potential. Year one didn't work out because he started off as a QB, and last year was his first ever as a WR. This year seemed to be the one where he would really start to blossom. The last thing we need is for him to have to miss games because of this garbage.

And yes, I am excited about the guys in the hopper - guys like Boone, Wright, Landry, Fobbs and Beckham. We also have a great receiving TE like Peterson and some good ones behind him. But, I want Shep on the field. Period.

He's a home run threat every now and then and he's valuable in that aspect. I think Wright or Boone would be more consistent though.

Regardless of what Shep's on the field value turns out to be in his LSU career, he was close to the consensus #1 rated prospect that year. He is a highly visible recruit. This shouldn't have been allowed to happen. It looks bad.

In football news, according to reliable sources it does not appear that Russell Shepard will miss any playing time because of the off-campus housing situation. Shepard will likely be forced to pay back some money. Also, I have learned that Jarvis Landry will only have to miss three weeks of Fall workouts instead of "three to four".

Hope this report from Dandy Don is accurate.

You can start with the Saint to stop defending himself so hard.

It's getting boring having to read his shite.
