Have you ever seen a coach not have it written in their contract that they get a raise if they win a national title?
There is almost always something in there that says if a NC is won then said coach goes to top 5 paid in the nation, or SEC, or whatever it may be.
And all you fricktards are crying about Woodward, but it would have been in Alleva's contract.

Sorry kew, but this is dumb. Do you think Woodward just spends at will? Or maybe does he actually have to talk to donors/boosters occasionally to have his major moves “approved”? I can promise you that it is a collective decision to spend money and make major hires at ANY school.

It is a legitimate point. The magnitude of the buyout is a huge mistake imo. Another couple of losses coming up will likely force Woodward's hand.

Woody was pressured from above to give O top 3-5 salary with extension. He didn’t want to go that high, but O is close with JBE. Put nothing past him and Ponamsky on street smart game.
