I don't believe the story about LSU trying to hire Jimbo this time around, and do think Woody let a lot of smoke around Lincoln Riley to smolder to hide we were going after Kelly. (Riley had reasons to let that smoke smolder as well.)
But, there were a lot of LSU fans who were on the Jimbo bandwagon after the Alabama and GTHOM losses in 2015. That's where we dodged that bullet.
