train. I can't believe the amount of people in this "fan" base ready to throw a sophomore under the bus. The only other options we have are a RS Fresh that hasn't even sniffed the field yet or another sophomore that has never taken a snap a QB... awesome.

JJ had a year at the helm to show improvement. He failed. I would rather try someone new than give him another year to show no improvement.

He's on the LSU isn't as talented as BAMA or UF bandwagon also. He doesn't realize talent doesn't=good. It's the potential to be good. We have the potential to be as good, but out coaches have not developed that talent.

We don't need this, but JJ needs to be thick skinned and realize that he is the QB of an Elite football program...

Expectation are high! Produce or sit... It's pretty simple.

I hope he is up for the challenge...because frankly as a fan, I am tired of hearing "When is LSU going to get a good QB?" from friends.

Potential needs to come around in the next 8 months

Next year is the tell-all for JJ. Im not ready to do away with him now, Im hopeful. He shows glimpses of promise, mixed with moments of cluelessness.

Wow, if you were a head coach you would never have known how good Jamarcus Russell, Colt McCoy or Matt Stafford would've been.

he also got pissed at carl the cat for thinking with a level head. he said "after an 8-4 season next year, then what...". i'm not going to lie, i'm just as concerned as anyone, but the fact is les will not be fired this year. if LSU does go 8-4 next year then i see no reason to keep him.

You don't need experience to figure out that snapping the ball when the clock is running is a good idea.

Jason Campbell was pretty bad..until he led AU to an undefeated 2004 season.

John Parker Wilson had lots of Bama fans ready to run him off...until he led Bama to an undefeated regular season in 2008

Its way too soon to know if JJ will succeed at that level. I am all for open qb competition, but IF JJ is the best we have, he may turn out to be terrific.

Don't let Songy's dumbass get you wound up. The only good reason to listen to him is just in case that guy calls him a pu55y again. The was awesome!

Lee had a terrible year last year determining which jerseys to throw to, I thought he should have gotten another year to develop. That being said I think JJ is terrible, but has shown flashes of adequecy. I hope they dont make the same move and have us with 3 starters in 3 years.

not having a viable backup option shouldn't stop criticism for the current option

i won't sit here and criticize JJ any more than I already have b/c I have been saying it for over a year now, but the kid has to get ALOT better

and i don't mean, when/if we get a running game he'll better, or if we had/get a better o-line he'll be better. i mean he, his play has to be MUCH MUCH better in 2010 for LSU to compete with Auburn, Bama and Arkansas for the SEC west title

do you still own property in the Lakeview area? if so, how much has your premiums gone up lately?
were you in the water too long during Katrina, or did you stay and are still in a totally shell shocked mind set?

QB, not color is very important position to be playing, especially between the ears, if they have the physical tools.

If the o-line isn't better next year I don't give a frick if we have Drew Brees, we're fricked. Did you see how lack of protection affected Brees in the Dallas game? You can't underestimate the need for a solid o-line.

If you listen to Songy you can usually get, give or take, 3 useful pieces of info a year. He is a complete idiot who changes his opinion like most people change their pants.

On a Monday.
