She has shot the ball 150 more times this year than last year. Who are you taking shots away from to let HVL shoot that man times a game last year?

She wasn't gonna be a fit because we have too much talent to just let her shoot it as much as she needs to be successful. We already have someone who is better than her who is a volume shooter.

Mikayla Williams has had a better FG % in both seasons than HVL has had in any of her 5 seasons. Williams is playing about the same amount of minutes/game that HVL did for us last year. Williams is averaging 6 points more per game and shooting 47% compared to HVL shooting 38% last year.

You aren’t going to put in HVL over Williams, but we lack three point shooters. Use HVL and Williams at the same time, but who leaves? Johnson? No. The only option is HVL to PG. TCU made it work.

it just seems like HVL needs extra shots to be better. Out of 7 players who attempted 100 shots, she was the only one who shot under 42% (Poa's average last year), she shot just under 38%. We had 3 players attempt at least 100 threes. HVL was the worst 3pt % out of her, Mikayla and Flaujae.

She apparently needs the extra 5+ shots a game to be better. And she wasn't getting that here.

The TCU offense suits her better I guess. Plus her injury had heeled.

We don’t take many threes and teams know this. They play off us to some extent and try to keep us out of the paint. That was evident yesterday.

She seems to be having a great year at TCU. Glad to see her doing well. She was a great representative of LSU. Easy player to root for.

HVL ASKED to play point guard. That’s the whole reason she transferred here. She WANTED to play point guard to increase her draft stock for the WNBA draft. It did not work out because she wasn’t good at it.

How early did you realize she wasn’t good at it? Because Kim never adjusted and kept forcing a square peg in a round hole.

And no, there was no dissension on the 2023-2024 team that reached the Elite Eight. Everybody loved HVL and HVL loved everybody, despite the narrative more idiots like those in this thread want to fashion.
