LSU won the 2007 NC after I moved from BR to Houston in 2006. I just moved back to Houston from BR in Nov 2015.

You're welcome.

I'm on the young end of that category and I love it in the context we use it. Football is a game best played with emotion. That adrenaline takes it to a whole other level.

It would make my life if they ever decided to stop playing that shitty Callin Baton Rouge song. I'm even a fan of Garth Brooks' music, but good god nothing brings my hype down more than when they play that before the game. Thank god the band starts playing soon after to bring me back up.

You need to get the frick out of your mom's basement more. Sheesh.

We have far too many days left before I head to Lambeau for me to be this hyped already. I'm not even drinking yet.

Why would the recent event get the crowd more turnt than usual? Having a university in a flood prone part of the country and dealing with catastrophic flooding is not something to be proud of...

Your lack of understanding as to why someone would be prideful about where they're from is to be expected when talking to people from Arkansas. Unless it's meth. Y'all get real excited over meth.

Calling Baton Rouge is nostalgic and all but it shouldn't give anyone chills

It's a song about a woman

I mean it's a song that mentions Baton Rouge a bunch being played in a football stadium in Baton Rouge. It's not like we need to break down Pink Floyd lyrics or some shite here.

That's exactly what I'm saying

It just says Baton Rouge and that's where it ends

And people have a good time when it comes on. Plenty of schools play shite that gets the crowd going that has nothing to do with anything school or even football related. It's just a fun pregame song.

I'm not denying that dude. I'm simply saying it's not the type of song to make chills run down your spine. Unless just hearing the words Baton Rouge in a song give you chills I guess. I enjoy the song. Just not gonna get a hard dick over it because it's just about some chick he loves who happens to live in BR.

I like the beginning when the crowd recognizes the beginning of the song and then when the whole stadium screams "Louisiana." I could see getting chills at those 2 moments.
