With Competent QB Play This Team Would Play Be 1 or 2 in the West

I keep seeing Daniels apologists posting “A win is a win so shut up” all over this board. This analysis is extremely short sighted and misses the point.
We are stacked at skill positions on offense. Daniels is getting more time in the pocket because O Line is starting to gel. Emery and Cain are getting stronger each game. Defense is spotty at times (but whose isn’t? See Mizzou vs GA, TX v Bama first half, etc), but has shown an attacking/turnover/big play mentality we have been longing for.
Point blank: QB play is the single thing holding this team back. And what sucks is we don’t even need a superstar back there to make us profoundly better. We have less than a game manager right now and it is the difference between 7-5 and 9-3/10-2.

I don't see this anywhere. I see people saying he has the highest ceiling, but is missing a lot of items and must continue to develop.

Very rough in first half but are we going to forget about the scoop/score, game sealing INT/honey Badger strip by brooks, and pitching a shut out in the second half? Defense ended up winning the game for us.

Ok, even if that’s the case my point still stands. This isn’t a play Nus/bench Jayden post. Just pointing out we actually have a very talented team this season that could be a contender with merely competent QB play.

So why are we starting three freshmen? Why are we constantly rotating TBs? How come our WRs drop so many passes or fail to make plays when opportunities present themselves? How come we shuffle the OL do much.
The QB play certainly needs to improve, but it’s not nearly the only issue with our offense.
