With all the LSU dysfunction, the next coach is going to want a ton of money to come here.

Not knowing whom he truly will answer to, the Governor, incoming President, current or new AD, or the BOS. For someone like Lane to leave his current situation for LSU he's going to want a big guaranteed deal.

Sounds like we arent giving that big deal based on what the governor said. So lane may not be an option
