Will Wade’s emotion is such a welcome change over statue JJ

College basketball is such an emotional and momentum charged game. Teams really feed off each other and a team can be down 15 but have a huge play ignite them and go on a 20-5 run to tie it.

The fact that the coach is on the court jacked the frick up after a big play forces an opponent to call a time out is only positive. You could see how boring the team was with JJ because he was a statue. Before you mention coach K is a statue too, he actually knows what he’s doing.

Whether we win tonight or not, it will be close because this team has a coach who knows what he’s doing and whose energy this team feeds off of. It’s time to ride.

Yep.

I mean, I don’t want to bad mouth him because he clearly loves LSU and it must be a dream to coach your alma mater, but what we’ve seen from Wade in the last off-season and last night in his first real test has been a complete 180.

I love lsu and have coached HS football for years. Love dosnt equal knowledge. He is and will be appreciated, but Wade is an x&o guy and clearly just has a passion for winning. Regardless of school

He wasn't a good coach and I'm glad JJ is gone but that is one classy man. Him and Miles actually in handling their departures.

Coach K is old as frick and he still gets animated during big plays or bad calls or what have you.

Both were great tigers and great men. One just was in over his head and one was just too stubborn to change.

Will Wade feels like a blue blood insider to me, like he should be at UNC, NCSt, etc. I am so thankful we have a good coach I love LSU Bball and Trent then Johnny was just painful to me. Wade is next level hard worker, but just seems like he has the old school coach pedigree.
