Yeah, guys like Pitino, Cal, Pearl, Roy, K, Self....yeah, none of them ever lied to their bosses I'm quite sure. Of course they did, multiple times probably. Or more than likely also, their bosses did not ask or press the issue.
Hell, ole Vitale lied to WW's face before the SEC title game in 2020, said he would not bring up his tired schtick during the game broadcast then proceeded to do a 2-minute hit piece in the middle of the broadcast and blamed others like it was out of his hands, even though he participated fully and enthusiastically in the piece.
