He's the closest thing to Saban in basketball!! "If" he continues to overachieve here and gets us to a final four you know UNC, Duke, and Kentucky will have him at the top of their list. Hope we pay him championship money to keep him.

Everything old is new again. At one point, the basketball team had offices, weight room and practice facility all in the PMAC.

Did they really? What are those spaces used for now?

As far as I know, much of the PMAC is empty or used for storage. The old practice facility in the basement is used by the volleyball team, I believe. At one time all the men’s and women’s basketball teams and volleyball, all had their offices, meeting rooms, locker rooms, etc, plus the L Club, which is a big meeting space.

Lots of wasted space probably being used for nothing,

The Wadeophiles (not the rational Wade fans) are lunatics. Saban has a record to back up his reputation as an elite coach. Wade does not. His team has been to one NCAA tournament. That is it.

His record shows that he is a good coach. That is it at this point.

The Wadephiles believe all the big talk. The vast majority of LSU fans are rational people who will wait, with hope, to see how the team does this year. "I think everything is in place for a great year" is fair. "Wade is Saban" or "Wade is now elite" is not.

Chin o Wang, Wade is a very good coach. His record at 3 separate schools validates my opinion.

Whereas, Johnny Jones is an average coach at best who didn't deserve the LSU job. He lost his team to massive disarray and lack of team chemistry. Jones could not make the tournament with a large amount of talent in the Simmons year. He left the team with a talent and depth dearth the year he was let go. Jones is now in a job commiserate to his coaching ability.

Keep posting about Wade with your bias, and I will continue to rehash the truth about your fav Jones.

There’s a large gap between very good coach and “the Nick Saban of basketball”

I’m excited about the Wade era but those kind of statements are ridiculous

They’ll live."

Getting waxed is losing by 40 to A&M with No. 1 overall pick. Losing by a last second 3 isn't getting waxed.

We lost by 3, and he wasn’t even coaching. Are you retarded?

It was a close loss and not even considered getting waxed.
However if the team would have made the final 4 or won the whole thing then Wade would have gotten the credit as he should have because Wade did build this team so it was Wade's team that lost and I am ok with that.

It would have been nice to see how far the basketball team would have gone with Wade on the court along with his team. Hopefully we have seen the end of the whole disgusting affair and nothing comes of the taped conversations

Wade needs to keep the NCAA from putting us on probation. If not, Woody will run him off faster than an LSU running back.

Wade gets no credit for victory and all the blame when we lose. Whether he was actually even there or not

He wasn't there because he screwed up.
