LSU canned Wade for Wade's actions. It had nothing to do with football. LSU realized that they had a bunkum merchant in their midst who needed to go. Big talk wins nothing.

Remember when Johnny Jones got caught paying Lester Earl and got LSU put on actual probation? Then he did it again and got caught paying Jarell Martin and Tim Quarterman? Yea, your hero was the biggest POS in LSU history.

What would they have done if lsu dug its heels in and kept Wade? A post season bowl ban or scholarship reduction for a year or two? Looking back with how bad Kelly was it would have been better to just take the hit and hold on. Imagine where we would be if we had Wade all these years. I fricking hate Woodward!
