This is pretty stupid to believe. Alabama, Arkansas, and South Carolina will be huge ranked games. We also have one pretty tough non conference (considering its non conference) game in Washington. We played Northwestern last year as well, didn't affect what people said about our schedule.

Towson started up their football program 3 years ago. The first two seasons, they finished dead last in the CAA conference of Division II. Last year, they won it. IIRC, their only loss was to 2 win Maryland. It's a pretty little town and a nice campus and playing us will be a great experience for them.

I worked in Towson for a few weeks recently and did some reconnaissance.

im worried about towson. their mascot is a tiger so they won't be intimidated by mike. they also have the same colors as missouri so we might get confused and think they are an sec team and play tight. stacy keibler also went to towson so that should be good for about a field goal. they are an east coast team and they can really go.

They've had a team continuously since 1968.

They have been in CAA for 5 years, before that A-10. They are a FCS (I-AA) team, not D-II. They lost in first round of playoffs last year.

In early December if there was a decision to be made as to who goes to the BCSGC.

For programs like LSU, if we lose a game and the decision is close on who gets to Miami, yes, this will come up.

Playing a DI-AA team always hurts a little, but Towson was good enough to get a bye into the round of 16 in the DI-AA playoffs. We could have done a lot worse as far as DI-AA teams go...

Montana has put Northwestern out of the playoffs at least 3 times that I remember, I believe they have split with McNeese, with the McNeese win coming when they finally made Montana travel down here during winter instead of playing in the snow.

Im not too sure about everything you said, meaning im sure you know more, but doesn't the homefield get determined by record or seeding? If MT earned it, then its more than fair to require a southern school to go north. Football is a sport for elements. Its part of the game.
