I know that students can't usually give tickets away for this game because of the holiday, but this year my facebook and email inbox is littered with people searching for student tickets.

I think this game is going to buck the trend that this game has less than stellar attendance. With the holiday you should have a lot of out of town fans who haven't gotten the chance to see this special team yet this year and will be willing to purchase any tickets on the market.

TS is going to be rocking and rolling for this game. This is the only true big time matchup that the home fans have had all year, and everybody will be ready for it.

Very true. I personally know people that would not normally attend the game due to the holiday and they are going out of their way to be there.

a better question might be, why doesn't CBS move the game back to primetime a la 11/5/11? There has been a precedent for changing big games to primetime set for the Bama game... why not this one?
