Its safe to say that if METT hasnt performed in the games leading up to BAMA, for people to think that he will have his break out game against BAMA is ridiculous!!!!!
+1

LSU needs to let the stable of RB's do what they do and the DEFENSE do what they do and hopefully METT and the receivers can connect with each other just to keep drives alive.

Special teams or D has to score or to beat bama, passing game is mediocre at best.....I still like tigers solely on RB's, D, and Special teams..

So far, one of the most realistic posts I've seen from a non-Alabama fan.

LSU 17 BAMA 14
-?
This is the trickiest part. Alabama's offense isn't South Carolina or Florida's? Barring major Alabama injuries during the game, if LSU holds Alabama to 2 offensive touchdowns, then they will have mad respect from me, and I know I won't be alone. I know that might not be enough to win the game, but it's still impressive.

The real Mett is what we saw at the UW game. 6 WR dropped passes only thing that pet him from a near perfect game statistically. OL gave him time, he stood tall in the pocket, and through strikes with authority. 2 UW alums sitting next to me both said your QB is very impressive.

IMO, he has been playing like the coaches have him afraid to make a mistake after he had a string of fumbles and INTs which has caused indecision and overthrowing receivers.

He just needs to make plays with his MOJO back. I still say we have not seen the true upside yet of Mr. Mett.

If Mett can merely have an efficient 13-20 180 yard day with no interceptions and a few key completions to move the chains-We should be just fine!

Thanks. Just curious if Steve E. is given any guidance over Mett. Seems like he is the perfect coach/person to do this. Both have same body types and styles as QB's along with great arm strength. Big "E" throwing the bomb was a thing of beauty - in HS and college. He also had a little moxy with him in college that Mett desperately needs. Mett has all the tools to be a very successful QB despite his lack of speed and elusiveness. It's the intangibles he's lacking right now. Hope he gets it together on Sat. night. That would be a welcome site. He seems to come through when game is on the line and that gives me hope. I still BELIEVE! Geaux Tigers!
