Does it really matter? This will go down as one of the most underperforming teams in recent LSU history. With the offensive talent they have they should have never lost more than 1 game.

With UGA falling apart I agree. We should have beaten them. BUT with AU coming on strong that is a good win. The Ole MISS game will HAUNT LSU by the end of the season. FACT.

If this Tiger team has any self-respect, they will play like national champions against their next four opponents! We'll sse!

they played too many snaps because they couldn't get off the field on 3rd down.

Georgia loss should have done that. So obvious answer is no. Terrible question.

Very true 05fan.
This team was always going to go as the offense did. Mett had an off night, and we couldn't dig out of the hole.
It happens. When Brees has his 2 and 3 pick games, the Saints lose to Cleveland, the Rams, and sweat out wins over horrible TB teams.
That's the nature of a QB dependent team. And that's what happened Saturday.

That's kinda the point I was trying to make. Someone brought up the loss to Georgia, but this team will go as the QB goes, and Mett was damn near perfect in that game.
Mett needs to play lights-out for us to beat Bama and aTm... and I think the fact that he INDIVIDUALLY cost us that game, and that he knows it, is going to double his focus going forward. We may not see as many shots downfield, but I think we'll see more 10-15 play drives.

i feel like it does the opposite for lsu for some reason, they seem to kind of give up after losses like these...i dont blame them with shitty fans like ours
