I think JJ gives us the best chance to win. I have typed that in many threads, many many threads.

I do not think he is going to be All-Sec this year like some others. I think as I have stated before around 1800-2100 yards 18 touchdowns 13 INT along with 27 sacks...

I think he misses at least 1 game with injury through because as Flynn, Mauck proved QB's that use their feet get hit more.

I think 2010 when JJ is a junior it will be LSU's year.

That being said, I will not bash Lee who as a 19 year old played against some of toughest defenses in nation, and he continued to come back. I will not bash him and think those who do are pathetic. That is my opinion

really ? you are certain of this ?

uhh yea. jamarcus had a stronger arm and could make every single throw. he also could evade tacklers and avoid sacks ever when guys were hangin on him.

jj can scramble better, and that is about it

Well I figured I would explain myself... simple answer would have brought many out of wood works to start a grammar war again.

Who the hell are you? Did you play Qb at a major college? 99% of us on here will never be in the position JJ is in now or be a coach on team like LSU. We are all arm chair QBs with nothing more than our opinion, which was what the OP asked for.

I hope like hell JJ will be better than MR was or we are in deep shite! It's pretty obvious that JJ is better than JL at this point or he would be mentioned more for competing agianst JJ as the starter.

I think JJ will put up better numbers than you think due to the reps he will get against the lesser teams we play.

Will JJ be one of LSU's great QBs? Well considering we haven't had that many he has a damn good shot of putting up numbers better than most.

He'll finish off about like Herb.

Herb's in construction now or was a couple years ago. He is a good dude, but with all due respect to Herb I hope JJ is a smarter person.

Wasn't that Herb wasn't smart, he just lacked ideal size to play in NFL.
If JJ ha the type of career at LSU tht Herb had it would be a pretty good career.

I'm not saying Herb didn't have football sense. I am just saying holding a conversation with him.
