If he has recovered from his stroke and his numbers are good in a medical exam / tests [blood pressure], he should be fine to get health insurance. It's not like cancer which is so expensive to fight and truly "beating it" after one has had it is so iffy.

Health insurance after a stroke will be quite expensive, because the number one risk factor for having a stroke in the future is having had one in the past, and the insurance companies are well aware of this. I wish him well as strokes can be devastating.

I’m about to have a stroke myself just thinking about this scenario lol.

But the reality is there are plenty of people with the same health issues in worse financial situations — he will land on his feet.

Needs to make sure his health is a priority though.

Middle age sneaks up on people — schedule an annual wellness check & pay attention to what you eat! That goes for all you baws ;)
