Just one week. Rather him make the mistakes now than during a meaningful SEC series or regional play. Gotta a lot of new kids on the team this year. Gonna take a few weeks for them to gel.

Also the Coaches Committee allows some of their donations to be used to supplement the assistant coaches. When I first joined I had to sign a statement agreeing that the head coach could do that as his discretion.

I do not think any compensation can come from a booster club, there are probably NCAA rules about that. You're correct about the camp though

We make our check out for our membership fees to TAF.

Does that change things?

No he did not. Watch the replay. Plus, Davis sent Moore home and he was out by a mile. He also wasn't even watching the play when Robertson got thrown out by ULL. Him being on the coaching staff at LSU is an absolute joke. The dude

A joke? You my friend are the joke. To say he knows nothing about baseball is asinine. Stop speaking out of your arse when you know nothing. The fact that you made a statement like this shows just how little you know. When's the last time you had a baseball conversation with Will to make this kind of statement about him? Stop talking shite behind your keyboard and enjoy you daughter's tball game that probably is too complex for you to understand. Thank you and have great day.

Why did you attribute that quote to me? I didn't write that crap about Will Davis.

I find it funny that a guy who played 4 years at LSU and has now coached for 5 or so years is being called incapable of coaching a tball team by a guy who probably didnt make his varsity baseball team in hike school. Solid ranter action right there.

Yeah, you know how I feel about that waste of space. When an opportunity presents itself to express my displeasure for Will Davis I come running.

No, TAF manages the funds for all of the booster clubs but all payments go through LSU compliance etc. Those dollars are not to be used at TAF discretion, someone correct me if i'm wrong though...

Say what you will, but it is clear and has been for a few years now that our base running and, at many times, our hitting needs better coaching.

We put on a clinic in the Bot 1st yesterday then abandoned it and started swinging for the fences.

Saying he was horrible is a stretch. He always knew he wasn't blessed with talent, but that dude worked his arse off to get the most out of what he had

I think he always knew that if he wanted a place in the game, it would be from the coaching side. He's taking advantage of an opportunity. Cant blame him...

Nepotism at its finest. And yes, I played HS ball against him and he wasn't even in the discussion of top 100 players I played against in state.

This

His dad was a coach at LSU back in the day and that is how he made the team. He wasn't in the Top 100 in Baton Rouge, let alone the state. And yes I played against him in high school as well. I'm not saying he isn't a DECENT coach, but this is LSU. We have one of the most historic programs in college baseball and we don't need decent coaches. I think we can find someone better. Somebody that played at a higher level and that the kids will want to take instruction from because that coach has been where the player wants to go. Will Davis is not LSU caliber, but that is just my opinion.
