guess we will see, i know im supposed to be biased but he needs a good foot up his behind as much as possible.

maybe im too hard on him, but thats just the way i have always been with both of them.

things were so easy with him in high school that i hope he does not think that will happen at this level.

he's pretty well grounded though, so i may be concerned about nothing

great points, but can you even explain auburn 2006?

This is always a well thought out assessment. Again, had hester's catch and fumble out of bounds been upheld as it was called on the field. Your first and 10 inside Au's 20. Instead, you turn the ball over on downs (at least three points)

Then we have the pass to lafell, in the endzone, where he is tackled and no call.

If dixon doesn't slip on a thirty yard pass from russel inside Au's redzone, again, we have points.

lastly, had a clean int. not been called pass interference, we have points.

Not blaming the game on the refs. Just making a point that alot of factors go into the success of points or lack of points that the coach has no control over.

I gave three pass plays that the coached called; just wasn't successful. Had they been executed, more points, the offense appears to be more explosive, and no one is complaining about running to much or losing.

again, fans assume if we passed more, no balls would have been intercepted, dropped, or in russell's case fumble a snap. something he had an issue with that season. we would have executed them all and scored 30 points.

When in Rome, do as the Romans: Immature geeks critize LSU coaching staffs, and I critize our immature geeks--sounds fair to me.

refs were beyond bad in that game...

but piss poor play calling and execution was just as guilty.

hester and vincent up the gut for a 2 yard loss it seemed like everytime.

LSU defense played AMAZING that game.

In my opinion the best game Crowton has called for LSU was the Virginia Tech game. Their great defense never had an answer for anything we did. We opened up our full arsenal on them. We spread the ball around and used all our strengths. We played to each players strength as well. The key is to work in misdirection to keep teams honest. (If Trindon gets the ball everytime he checks in, it starts to become obvious, hell even the rantards figured that one out).

Last year was the year of no quarterback. It was a serious dent in the play calling. When you have a QB that is limited, so shall the play calling, making it predictable. I think things should be alot better this year.

who really cares if miles has his hands in the offense? i guess florida fan's and south carolina fan's are upset their h.c. has a hand in the offense.

One thing you have to give miles, he's never strayed to a total spread attack. Why? you need a power game in the red zone. (see the ohio state) If you are going to develop players for the n.f.l., they will have to have some sort of knowledge of a pro set.

what were your thoughts on miles trying to call a timeout after a interception UT 2005?

or actually kicking a 63 yard field goal in 2008?

or taking scott out of the game for the 2nd half against kentucky 2007?

That game wound up being a final elimination game to the BCS Championship--the winner of that game goes to the BCS C.G.

and jimbo called the last couple of minutes.

a more prepared and experienced quarterback, to me, will execute the playcalls better with less mistakes and, in turn, make the coachs look better....i think Jefferson will make all the difference...i'm just a dumb fan though
