re: Will another 4 or 5 loss season get Jimbo crossed-off Woodward' s future HC wish-list?

Let's put THAT in context. I was a fan of Aleva for having the vision to hire Orgeron. May be the best hire in the SEC since Saban.
O isnt even the most important person on his own staff. Good god you're ate up with the dumbass.

No alter, just don’t post a lot, but I do laugh at the morons like you who love when LSU fails so we can start a “fire the coach” thread.

I’ve grown tired of the Orgeron debates. I didn’t like the hire, but what’s done is done and Orgeron has the job. He has done a good job, not great job, in his first two years. I expect, as I’m sure Orgeron does, great things going forward now that this is without question his program to drive into the future.
Orgeron will do well, very well, going forward. And if for some reason he doesn’t, we will move on to the next leader of LSU football. The expectations are what they are and are widely known, whether it be Miles or Orgeron or whoever is at the helm.

1) LSU isn't failing. AP #6 in the country in '18.
2) I'm a strong supporter of O. This post is in contrast to those O-haters who want O fired if LSU loses 3 games in '19.
i.e., if 3 losses DQ's O. why wouldn't 3 losses DQ Jimbo (the O-haters Golden Boy)

Then miles was doing a good job when he was fired.
Win loss season numbers are the same with O having less productive offense than milss last full year.

The pinnacle of jimbo's HC career isnt 3 losses and 5th place in the sec(using tie breakers that actually exist)

That’s great, surely it translated to a top ranking in the SEC West, right?

So you think O should be retained as HC if he shows that 9-3 is his ceiling? If he can’t do better than that with the way this year is set up, he never will.
Idiot. At least you admit you move the goalposts for him. 9-3 average wasn’t good enough to keep Les. It should never be good enough at LSU.

Anyone that says the goalposts havent been moved for O is either stupid or an outright liar.

They’re immovable this year given what O has at his disposal and how long he’s been in charge. 11 wins or the season is a colossal failure.

Anyone with eyes can see that the O-Haters have been pimping extra hard against O since Woodward took over.
I hate O with a passion. I think he’s a horrible human being that only cares about Ed Ogeron. There is nothing in his past that would make me believe he would be a good head coach.
Now with that said...I’m hopeful and optimistic about the 2019 season and want us to win the National Championship. But I’ll still hate Shrimp Boat Captain.

Honestly this is the biggest reason I hated the hire. I knew that he could end up worse than Les and the idiots would make excuses for him like they never did before for a coach.
He may end up being an improvement, but this year will tell all. And there’s at least one poster here who already admits he will make excuses for O if he goes 9-3 again. I’m sure there are plenty of others.
The greatest thing, though, is that Alleva is gone and Woodward won’t have excuses. Hopefully we destroy teams this year en route to a NC and the discussion won’t even be needed.

This is a good post. O is a good motivator and the kids like to play for him. Things are looking good.

“ after he loses 5 games”
Why don’t we wait to find ways to piss on Jimbo after Coach O has found a way to beat him and after Texas A&M is ranked lower than us in the west.
Until that time, most of this anti-Jimbo stuff seems little more than sour grapes.

It’s funny how the Rant wants to give Jimbo a pass in year two for a tough schedule, but said no excuses were acceptable in year two for Orgeron one year ago.
A&M's 2019 schedule looks to be pretty tough, just like LSU's 2018 schedule looked. However, Miami and Auburn turned out to be overrated before the 2018 season started, therefore, last season's schedule wasn't as daunting as was anticipated.
Perhaps the same thing will happen with A&M's schedule this coming season.

I’d hope so if he’s the OC of a top SEC football program
